How we do things differently

ZestyPDF processes most files directly in your browser. Your documents never leave your device for tools like merge, split, rotate, and edit. For tools that need server-side processing — like compress, unlock, and document conversion — files are uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed immediately, and deleted within minutes. We cannot read your files and we have no interest in doing so.

There are no ads during launch, no accounts, no watermarks, and no daily limits for normal use. The tools are honest about what they can and cannot do — if PDF-to-Word conversion might need cleanup on a complex layout, we say so upfront. You deserve to know what you are getting before you click.
